I am intimately familiar with this area, having lived in Vaughan almost 25 years. I've noted the pace of development and its impact on traffic right before my eyes. To think that the area will house almost 800 more residential units (ie 1600 people) along with a commercial tower is unconscionable. Intensification will be necessary in our City but the magnitude of this application is extreme. If you open a 4 way traffic light at near this intersection it would be disasterous. There already are problems making that turn and there is lots of congestion, adding a light and opening routes onto Weston Rd would cause more problems for the traffic flow it would NOT make anything better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
